Neal Maciejewski Sees Positive Results With Rye/Winter Wheat Cover Crop

Writer's picture: Clean Farm FamiliesClean Farm Families

Clean Farm Families board member shared these photos of his Rye/Winter Wheat Cover Crop.

The cover crop was planted on November 3, 2020 and Soybeans were planted on June 8, 2021.

Note how the Soybean planting had minimal disturbance to the soil. Also note how tall the cover crop was.

What's amazing is it was dry and stayed dry till June 18.

This was sprayed on July 6th, and the pictures were taken on July 16. The photos shows the spray kill and how for the soybeans have progressed.

Expect further updates when we get closer to harvest.

Thanks, Neal Maciejewski for sharing!
