Clean Farm
Families Soil Health Incentive
DUE NOVEMBER 15, 2025

The Ozaukee County Clean Farm Families is offering
incentive payments to producers for water quality and soil health conservation practices.

The CFF’s incentive programs are a first-come, first-served basis for farmers with land in the CFF Project Area. Qualifying farmers will be reimbursed for practices following implementation and a confirmation site visit by Ozaukee County Land and Water Management Department and the CFF Board.

2025 Conservation Practice Incentive Rates

The maximum cost share is $2,000/farm for the practices listed below.

Cover Crops

$35/ac for the 1st time on a field

$45/ac for the 2nd and 3rd time on the same field

No-Till Practice Incentive

$20/ac for the 1st time on a field

$35/ac for the 2nd and 3rd time on the same field

Harvestable Buffers

$500/ac for the 1st year install

$250/ac for the following two years of establishment

Establish Grazing

$2,000 stipend

Equipment Conversion

$2,000 stipend

$100/test including Manure, Forage, PSNT, Tissue and Biomass

Pollinator or Native Seeding

$2,000 stipend for the 1st year install

$50/ ac for the following two years of establishment
